Elizabeth, the Queen of England was an important woman in European history. Enrique VIII and Ana Bolena were her parents. Her father always wanted a boy as the heir of the crown. Before Elizabeth was the Queen Mary I was in charge of the reign but she wanted to introduce Catholicism as the main religious believe, but when she was considered suspected for the disarmament of Thomas Wyatt organization Mary was trapped in the London’s tower, in 1544. After this Elizabeth was proclaimed Queen in 1558 when she was twenty five years old. Elizabeth was brave and intelligent and she always defended protestant believes because she was conscious of the religious change in early XVI century. In the period she was reigning there where a lot of problems with other reigns. Spain was commanded for Felipe II, he was decided to establish Catholicism in England with his unbeatable army. When Mary I was executed due to treason to the crown (Elizabeth), Felipe II decided to attack England.
The Queen was in love with Raleigh but he was a forbidden man for her, for that reason Elizabeth asked Bess, one of her girls to keep relationship with Raleigh, because in that way he will be close to her. This kind of situation always are a mess, because of the Queen’s power maybe she tended to think that she can do whatever she wants, but in love things are not like that. When someone doesn’t love us, we can do everything but they will not be into this. The worst thing is love without being loved. It was a good film and it really showed how catholic followers were in those times. People who manage the power based crimes or wars in God’s wiliness and in that way they could do whatever they want.
